SMARTCITY TAIPEI

Taipei Water Department (TWD) is the pioneer in Taiwan for implementing smart water meters, which improve household water management and billing efficiency. From 2020, all new buildings in Taipei must be equipped with smart water meters. Additionally, TWD has launched projects, including proof of concept testing and field operational testing, to drive the development of the smart water meter industry and enhance water usage big data analysis. TWD's goal is to boost the smart water meter industry and make Taipei City more convenient and intelligent.
