This project combines IoT technology with campus air conditioning and motion sensors. In addition to uploading power consumption data to a cloud platform, it can also detect activity within the premises to determine whether proactive air conditioning shutdown is necessary. The business partner hopes to collaborate with the municipal government to seek funding from the Small and Medium Enterprise Administration of the Ministry of Economic Affairs for conducting campus trials. This will assist the facility management unit in effectively monitoring energy-saving benefits on campus through air conditioning equipment monitoring.
