With the popularization of smartphones and 3G and 4G networks, Taiwan has entered an era of smartphones. In recent years, Pokemon Go has escalated to lead players to go outdoors to interact with the real environment through Augmented Reality (AR). Bringing fresh feelings to the players, fully combining the application development of AR with the leisure and entertainment of the citizens, and opening the application opportunities of smart technology in the field of education.

The Taipei City Government cooperated with  LiveABC（希伯崙） to develop the "Interactive New Land" AR English Learning APP with Taipei Children's Amusement Park as a demonstration field. It was launched on February 5, 2018, and provided citizens free downloads till August 5, 2018. It is hoped that through game-based learning methods, children will be encouraged to go outside and interact with the real environment to learn English related to the life field so that children can learn while playing and improve their willingness and effectiveness. LiveABC is based on the theme of 13 amusement parks for Taipei Children's Amusement Park. The theme of English learning with design and theme of amusement facilities includes topics such as fruits, universe, and transportation. With easy Q&A, oral practice, video learning, etc. the learning process becomes richer and more interesting.
