The City Government’s official website has a rich variety of content, including municipal services, various activities, press releases, the latest news, application services, etc. Currently, people still search for the required information content by keying in for keywords on the website. This project is a collaboration with Azion Corporation. It builds an integrated information retrieval system for the Department of Information Technology of Taipei City, providing information analysis and categorizing the search results. It can provide services for the official website of the Taipei City Government. The Department of Information Technology only needs to integrate the information retrieval system and provide its web service to all main and sub-site search engine services of the other official websites, and all the existing website's search functions can be improved. The system’s operation is also easy to maintain.
