The number of Japanese and Korean tourists has always accounted for a significant proportion of the inbound tourism in Taiwan. This project aims to utilize tablet devices to connect with remote human service providers, offering real-time assistance and communication to tour guides and Japanese/Korean tourists anywhere they go. Additionally, tourists can use an app to engage in text-based chat for more in-depth consultation services. Through this short-term project, it is hoped to provide tourists with a translation experience that goes beyond impersonal machine translation and instead offers a warmer and more human touch.
