SMARTCITY TAIPEI

The Taipei IoT Innovation Lab is a collaborative project between the City Government of Taipei and the private industry aiming to serve as an experimental space to cultivate startup teams and provide related software and hardware required for the Internet of Things.  It is hoped that the establishment of the space will help drive the innovation momentum of the general public to co-create a smart city.

The proposal incorporates "Co-creation of DIY into city life" as a call-to-action for Taipei IoT Innovation Lab to develop senior long-term care system and applications, smart city, circular economy, smart technology, leisure and sports, smart childcare space and others.  Technologies such as voice assistant/voice control, LPWAN communication, IoT Builder and Taipei City Open Data applications are to be introduced into the operation of the IoT Innovation Lab, hoping to add more interactions and versatility of the space.
