Mixed Reality (MR) Course Teaching Application
- Category:Smart Education
Status:Incomplete Students who participate in competitions occasionally need to hire instructors from out of town, but valuable time is often wasted on transportation for those instructors. The PoC project collaborating with Taipei First Girls High School and other teams to use MR devices (such as Microsoft HoloLens 2 and others), carry out remote teaching of practical courses for students, and use a large number of sensors to identify gestures, language, eyes, and other information, ensuring that virtual images and external environment in combination achieve the best results. The use of MR technology enables both parties to share their screens. There are AR real-time tagging, video and audio calls and file-sharing options available on the screens, which improve the communication efficiency of remote collaboration. 3D objects appearing on the MR screen show procedures and key points for maintenance during spot checks, help users to summarize and manage courses as reference for troubleshooting of exceptions.
