Empirical Research Project on the Digital Social-Emotional Learning Platform
- Category:Smart Education
Status:Incomplete For education, Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) can help children recognize their own emotions and learn to express them correctly. Coupled with the guidance from their teachers, children can regulate negative emotions and effectively reduce extreme incidents (risks of bullying, violence or suicide). However, the education scene often faces the following three challenges: 1. The difficulty of quantifying and evaluating the emotional changes of children using subjective observation; 2. The limited amount of resources and manpower for counseling, making it difficult to popularize emotional education; 3. There is no digitalization of the relevant data on emotions, which limits subsequent statistics and analysis. To enable teachers and students to effectively record emotional learning processes and conduct follow-up reviews, this empirical research project cooperates with Mangax Technology Co., Ltd. through the smart Digital Diary Platform with its specific questions, systematic and positive guidance and regular records, which allows students to use illustrations and text entries to sort out their emotions, internalize emotional awareness, turn regulation procedures into personal habits and promote self-efficacy.
