AIoT Telemedicine Program
- Category:Smart Healthcare
Status:Complete In the early stage of admission to hospitals, patients with COVID-19 are treated and taken care of at the quarantine section of hospitals' emergency rooms. Therefore, medical staff often need to access the quarantine section, which greatly increases the cost of diagnosis and treatment time and the risk of infection. A smart system enables care in telemedicine, effectively reducing patients’ and their families' concern and improving the quality of care. This program is a collaboration with Octon. Mobile video nursing trolleys and a patient safety care system are set up in the quarantine section of the emergency room, and a nursing management interface is established or installed in the nursing station. It is hoped that this system can monitor patients' status. It can communicate with different wards through separate video windows and explain to patients about the symptoms. This will reduce the frequency of medical staff entering the quarantine ward and the time and cost in changing their quarantine protective gowns, and also helps patients to better understand their symptoms.
