AI-assisted adaptive learning
- Category:Smart Education
Status:Incomplete Amid the waves of digital technology applications, the incorporation of information technology into teaching and learning has become one of the goals around the world. Taipei City has been deeply involved in digital learning for many years, and encourages teachers to use various online platforms and well collect students return their learning-related data to accumulate a database of their learning records. As the database becomes richer, in order to help teachers analyze students’ learning results and understand the overall development of their knowledge from elementary school to high school, the Department of Education seeks to incorporate AI-related technologies into online learning platforms such as the "Taipei CooC-Cloud platform" and also uses AI to examine students’ learning effectiveness, predict their learning weaknesses, and guide them to preview/review to solve learning problems. This trial project is a collaboration between the Department of Education and CloudMile. It adopts the AI services from the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and consolidates the data used by carriers on the digital learning platforms and the big data of students’ learning effectiveness on the current infrastructure to build an AI predictive modeling to facilitate adaptive learning.
