City hall UVC disinfection robots
- Category:Smart Healthcare
Status:Complete In response to the impact of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, it is extremely important to disinfect public places, as human eyes cannot detect the virus. The cleaning staff is assigned to disinfect the city hall environment during the day when there are crowds. Aeolus Robotics proposes to the Public Affairs Management Center of the city hall to have this trial project which plans to incorporate the assistance from innovative technologies to use UVC disinfection robots to compensate for the limitations with night shift staff performing cleaning tasks. Robots are equipped with AI algorithm and autonomous mobility, and hold high-intensity UVC light tubes to conduct complete disinfection in an unmanned environment. The trial project is expected to eliminate more than 90% of harmful microorganisms, and there will be no chemical residues after disinfection. It is hoped that environmental cleaning in public areas will be improved during the pandemic to reduce the risk of COVID-19 infection.
