SMARTCITY TAIPEI

The goal of Taipei Smart City Project Management Office is to improve the quality of life of citizens and create a livable city! In this process, public recognition, support and feedback are very important. Therefore, in addition to actively serving as a media platform for interfacing with private innovation resources, TPMO assists the Taipei City Government in mediating companies or new teams with corresponding solutions. It is also introduced to the public in a lively and friendly way; in particular, it emphasizes the project that is close to the needs of the citizens and gives the public a real feeling.

On February 7, 2018, during the winter vacation, the Taipei New Children’s Amusement Park held a “Smart Parenting Tournament” event target at the parent-child community in hope of spreading the concept and experience of Taipei Smart City to the “family” as a unit to extensive publicity. "Smart Parenting Tournament" activity selected projects that are closely related to citizens' lives such as smart transport (3U), smart street lights, smart sports center, smart library, air box and smart English learning city, etc. There were one information desk and four game levels: "I know all about air quality," "WOW Smart House," "Smart Traffic Bumps," and "Smart English Learning City," through a simple explanation in simple language, combined with interesting gameplay and exquisite gift incentives, attracting the public to take the initiative to understand the various projects in the smart city of Taipei. Although the weather was damp and cold on that day, it still attracted as many as 200 big friends and children to attend the event together and complete the task to draw a perfect ending for the smart parent-child activity.
