Smart Taipei: A Handbook of Achievements in Taipei's Smart City Initiative

To promote the achievements of Taipei City's transformation into a smart city both domestically and internationally, our office has compiled a handbook showcasing these accomplishments in both Chinese and English. The handbook begins by providing an overview of the innovative energy that permeates Taipei, followed by a brief introduction to the city's comprehensive and accessible information infrastructure. It then proceeds to introduce the strategies, mechanisms, and vision driving the smart city initiatives. Furthermore, it presents representative project outcomes in various key areas such as transportation, public housing, healthcare, education, finance, and other innovative solutions.

The handbook concludes by highlighting Taipei City's integration with the international community and outlining the next phase's goals. The cover design features an extension of the Smart Taipei logo, with intersecting symbols arranged in a palindrome style and printed in a silver mist finish. The interior pages employ a layout format that combines text and visuals to enhance readability. Finally, the cover and back cover cleverly incorporate fold-out pages, vividly depicting the "openness" conveyed by the "北" character in the logo.
