Open Call for Collaborating Vendors for Taipei City Xinyi Shopping District Multimedia Information Kiosk PoC Program
In order to realize the vision of Taipei City as a smart city, we are seeking collaboration with private sector vendors to PoC a multimedia information kiosk program in the Xinyi District shopping area. This initiative aims to create an intelligent and one-stop public facility for the convenience of the public, achieved through policy planning. The project will incorporate a Proof of Business (POB) model, involving public-private collaboration and commercial operations to provide services with a public nature. The PoC will serve as an analysis and evaluation for subsequent formal project implementation, as well as a reference for promoting urban big data infrastructure. Trial Location The trial will be conducted in the Xinyi District shopping area, covering an area bounded by the southern part of Zhongxiao East Road, the western part of Songren Road, the northern part of Xinyi Road, and the eastern part of Guangfu South Road. If collaborating vendors have better proposals, they are not limited to the aforementioned area but must still be within the Xinyi District shopping area. Recruitment Method: I Qualifications for Collaborating Vendors: i Companies registered in the Republic of China must provide a copy of the company registration certificate (stamped with the company seal) when applying. ii Companies must have previous experience in operating "Multimedia Information Kiosks" both domestically and internationally. Applicants should submit supporting documents that demonstrate their past projects, including project planning, implementation, and results. II Application Period for Collaborating Vendors: iii Application Period: 7 calendar days from the date of this announcement. iv Trial Period: 6 months from the date of signing the collaboration contract. v This project adopts an open call for collaborating vendors. If the number of applying vendors exceeds 2, the selection will be based on past experience and proposal content. The top 2 vendors with the best qualifications and proposals will be selected as collaborating vendors, and the list of collaborating vendors will be publicly announced. vi Vendors who meet the qualifications as mentioned above should submit a written application to this office, along with a copy of the company registration certificate and supporting documents of past experience in operating "Multimedia Information Kiosks" and the proposal plan. vii The proposal plan from vendors should include items such as "Trial Location Planning," "Multimedia Information Kiosk Services and Functions," and "Business Model Planning (i.e., Proof of Business (POB) scheme)." Incomplete or unqualified proposal plans will not be accepted by this office. III After announcing the list of collaborating vendors, the selected vendors should sign the "Collaboration Contract for Taipei City Xinyi Shopping District Multimedia Information Kiosk PoC Program" with this office, as well as sign the "Administrative Contract for the Use of Taipei City Government-Owned Public Property" and submit a performance bond (NT$50,000 for each information kiosk). If a collaborating vendor fails to sign the collaboration contract within 14 days after the announcement of the list of collaborating vendors, or fails to sign the administrative contract and submit the performance bond within 1 month after the announcement, the collaborating qualification will be revoked, and this office may contact other applying vendors to replace the collaborating vendor.
