They opened up the entire city as an experimental field, collaborating with multiple industries to create the "IoT Experimental Platform" and the "Taipei IoT Innovation Lab," driving the synergy between industry, government, academia, research, and startups, elevating Taiwan's IoT industry to the global stage. The 2017 Asia-Pacific Smart City Awards features 14 categories, and the evaluation process is similar to the previous year, involving professional judging and public voting. The organizers will select one winner from each category.
