Fence-free Parking Lot Demonstration Project - Integration of Smart Parking, Charging, and Payment

With the vigorous growth of the electric vehicle market, the demand for parking, charging, and payment also rises. Currently, citizens can only pay parking and charging fees separately, increasing subsequent administrative costs. Therefore, this PoC project collaborates with VisionSoft Inc. to provide smart parking spaces with AI license plate recognition technology in fence-free parking lots. This PoC project also incorporated charging hardware that meets with the standards of the Industrial Development Bureau, MOEA, and integrated payment services so that citizens can pay their parking and charging fees at once at payment machines after parking/charging.

Expected Benefit

This PoC project combines smart parking poles, EV chargers, and payment systems to streamline the payment process for citizens and increase the payment ratio. On the other hand, the cloud-based smart parking service platform establishes a foolproof mechanism for billing together with billing compilation, parking image query, equipment status monitoring, statistical reports, and other functions. The functionality helps the managing authorities keep track of the information on parking lots.
